Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 11544:1993, which specifies a coding method having progressive, progressive-compatible sequential and single progression sequential modes. The draft also suggests a method to obtain any needed low-resolution renditions. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
