Proposes the adoption of ISO 4254-1:1989 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. Proposes guidelines to be met when designing tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry regarding the prevention of accidents arising from the use of such tractors and machinery. It also proposes the technical means for improving the level of personal safety for operators and users of tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry.
