Proposes the adoption of IEC 598-2-20:1996, which specifies requirements for lighting chains fitted with a series or parallel incandescent lamps for use with either indoors or outdoors supply voltages not exceeding 250 V. This Part is to be read in conjunction with Part 1. Proposed as an Australian/New Zealand Standard. A copy of IEC 598-2-20:1996 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia or Standards New Zealand office.
