Proposes the adoption of IEC 870-3:1989, which defines electrical interface characteristics (e.g. signals, impedances, and the like) which have to be met at the shared boundaries. The complete text can be viewed at the Sydney and Melbourne Information Centres of Standards Australia. Arrangements can be made to view copies at other Standards Australia branches if required.
