Proposes adoption of ISO 8486:1996 which provides means for determining the grain size distribution of macrogrits of diamond or cubic boron nitride in the range of F4 to F220 as used in the manufacture of grinding wheels and saws. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
