Proposes the introduction of ultrasound methods for defect detection and thickness measurement. It also introduces the concept of manufacturers operating an integrated gas cylinder test station. Proposes the removal of references to the regulatory authorities in matters of approval. It also proposes that gas cylinder test stations be given certificates of conformity with the Standard instead of approval, this will align with changes proposed in the revision of AS 2030.1.
