Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC TR 13594:1995 which specifies the cross layer aspects of the provision of security services in the lower layers of the OSI reference model (transport, network, data link and physical layers). Copies of ISO/IEC TR 13594:1995 can be purchased from or viewed at the head office of either Standards Australia or Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
