Proposes the adoption of ETSI ETS 300 373:1995 with modifications for Australia and New Zealand. ETSI ETS 300 373 sets out radiofrequency requirements for medium frequency and high frequency radiocommunications equipment intended to operate in the land mobile services and utilizing single sideband suppressed carrier emission. It specifies minimum requirements for transmitters and receivers for use of the radiofrequency spectrum in accordance with spectrum planning. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. Copies of ETSI ETS 300 373 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia or Standards New Zealand office.
