Proposes the adoption of ISO 9000-2:1997, which provides guidelines to assist users in understanding and applying the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001, 9002 and 9003 and to improve consistency in their interpretation and application. Includes an Australian/New Zealand Appendix which provides additional guidance in the form of a series of questions which address the requirements of ISO 9001. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
