Proposes the adoption of IEC 61000-2-5:1995, which provides a method of classification of electromagnetic environments. It is intended to provide a basic framework upon which other EMC considerations may be based. The complete text can be viewed at the Sydney and Melbourne Information Centres of Standards Australia or at Standards New Zealand. Arrangements can be made to view copies at other Standards Australia branches if required. Proposed as a Joint Australia/New Zealand Standard.
