Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 14843:1996, which specifies the signalling protocol for the support of the call offer supplementary service at the Q reference point between private integrated services network exchanges connected together within a private integrated services network. The Q reference point is defined in AS/NZS 4136.1:1995. Proposed as one of a series of Standards applicable to private integrated services networking. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. The complete text can be viewed at the Sydney and Melbourne Information Centres of Standards Australia or at Standards New Zealand. Arrangements can be made to view copies at other Standards Australia branches if required.
