Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 13247:1997, which specifies the signalling protocol for basic call/connection control at the Q reference point between private integrated services network exchanges connected together within a broadband private integrated services network using asynchronous transfer mode. Proposed as one of a series of Standards applicable to private integrated services networking. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. The complete text can be viewed at the Sydney and Melbourne Information Centres of Standards Australia or at Standards New Zealand. Arrangements can be made to view copies at other Standards Australia branches if required.
