Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC TR 15271 (currently ISO/IEC DTR 15271:1998), which provides users of AS/NZS ISO/IEC 12207 with further explanation in relation to various types of software and indicates which processes may be relevant in reference to contractual situations, on a project irrespective of size or complexity, in an organization as a self-assessment or for software process improvement initiatives. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
