Proposes the adoption of ETS 300 373:1995 with modifications for Australia and New Zealand. ETS 300 373 sets out radiofrequency requirements for medium frequency and high frequency radiocommunications equipment intended to operate in the maritime services, and specifies minimum requirements for transmitters and receivers for use of the radiofrequency spectrum in accordance with spectrum planning. Copies of ETS 300 373 may be purchased from or viewed at Standards Australia head office or Standards New Zealand office.
