Proposes a method of testing engines designed for automobile vehicles. It applies to the evaluation of their performance with a view to presenting curves of power and specific fuel consumption of full load as function of engine speed. It applies only to the gross power study. This draft Standard is identical with a reproduced from ISO 2543:1998.
