Proposes the adoption of IEC 61779-5:1998, which specifies performance requirements for group II (non-mining) portable, transportable or fixed apparatus for the detection and measurement of volume ratios of combustible gas or vapour in air, in volume fractions from 0 percent to 100 percent. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
