Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC TR 15504-5:1998 as an Interim Australian Standard. The ISO/IEC document provides an assessment model for supporting software process assessment and contains guidance of good software engineering practices to be considered when interpreting the intent of the assessment reference model.
