29-07-2024
10-06-1999
Proposes requirements for establishing the permanent, imposed and other actions to be used in the limit state design of structures. Values for floor loads are much the same as in AS 1170 and NZS 4203, but are presented in a new way based on European format. Four loading levels are given for handrails. Other actions covered are liquid pressure, ground water, rain water ponding, movement effects and earth pressure. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
