Structural design - General requirements and design actions Part 2: Wind actions
29-07-2024
10-08-1999
Proposes requirements for determining minimum wind actions for use in structural design. It includes design action levels which replace the importance factors in the previous edition and link this Standard with Part 0: General requirements, which is also presently at public comment. Wind speeds and direction factors are given for regions in Australia and New Zealand. Factors are provided to cover the environment around the structure, the geometry of the structure and the dynamic interaction of structure with the wind. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
