Proposes the adoption of IEC 60947-5-3:1999 which specifies requirements and tests for proximity devices with an enhanced resistance to failure. Identical with and reproduced from IEC 60947-5-3:1999. A copy of IEC 60947-5-3:1999 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office or Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
