Annex A (normative) Measurement of tear resistance of
narrow adhesive tapes by the pendulum method
This standard specifies the method to measure the force required to tear certaintypes of adhesive tape under standard test conditions. Details of the test method depend upon the width of the adhesive tape under test. For adhesive tapes less than 63,5 mm width it is necessary to use Annex A (normative).
