    This standard specifies the dimensions, types, design, materials and marking requirements of metallic ring-joint gaskets for use in conjunction with specific flange facings (type J) of flanges complying with EN 1759-1 for Class designations 150, 300, 600, 900 and 1500 for nominal size designations up to and including NPS 24 (DN600), and for Class designation 2500 up to and including NPS 12 (DN300).
