This European Standard specifies a method of determining the mechanical perfor- mances of prefabricated reinforced components of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) or lightweight aggregate concrete with open structure (LAC) according to prEN 1520 under transvere load. These include: - the midspan deflections for different load levels; - the cracking load; - the ultimate load by progressive loading until collapse; - the position and the shape of fracture.
