    This European Standard establishes a numbering system for designating copper andcopper alloys manufactured and/or used in Europe and the responsability for the allocation, registration and administration of numbers for individual copper materials. The system is applicable to: a) copper materials standardized in European standards (see 3.2), and b) copper materials not standardized in European Standards (see 3.3).
