Specifies a proposal for defining the United Nations Standard Sales Data Report Message for use in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between trading partners involved in administration, transport and commerce. Enables transmission of sales data related to products or services, for instance corresponding location, period, product identification, pricing, monetary amount, quantity, market sector information, sales parties. The recipient should be able to process the information automatically for use in production, planning, marketing, statistical purposes etc.
