    This Sectional Specification (SS) is applicable to cable outlet accessories for connectors. It shall be used in conjunction with the relevant Detail Specifications (DS).The object of this SS Is to establish uniform specifications, type test requirements and quality assessment procedures for cable outlet accessories and to establish rules for the preparation of detail specifications for cable outlet accessories of assessed quality.In the event of conflict between this sectional specification and the detail specification, the requirements of the detailed specification, shall prevail.Note: When selecting an approved rear accessory and connector, guidance shall be sought from the manufacturer or ONS to ensure compatibility.
