Describes two methods for determining behaviour of rubber or plastics hoses or tubing when bent to a specified radius. Method A is suitable for hoses and tubing of bore sizes up to 80 mm. The method also provides a way of measuring force required to reach a specified bend radius and test may be at a specified internal pressure. In Method B, bending characteristics, including force required for bending, may be determined over a range of temperatures from -60 degrees C to +200 degrees C. Applicability is limited to hoses and tubing of small bore sizes, i.e., up to 12,5 mm.
