This standard specifies the general requirements for the manufacture, inspectionand testing of remelting stock intended to be used for the production of castings and of castings in titanium and titanium alloys unless otherwise statedon the drawing, order or inspection schedule. Particular requirements are defined in EN 2545-2 and EN 2545-3. This standard shall be applied in conjonction with EN material standards unless otherwise specified on the drawing, order or inspection schedule.
