Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Describes the glow-wire test as applied to specimens of solid electrical insulating materials or other solid combustible materials for ignitability testing. The results give a relative comparison of various materials according to the temperature at which the test specimen ignites during the application of the electrically heated glow-wire as ignition source.
