Defines the general requirements for computer-aided design, and draughting (CADD) lettering according with all other parts of this Standard, for use in technical product documentation (especially on technical drawings). Contains basic conventions in addition to rules for applying CAD lettering by means of the techniques of numerically controlled lettering and draughting systems.
