Specifies requirements, test methods, marking and instructions for use, for fall-prevention/fall-arrest devices employed whilst ascending and descending a wood-pole. Used in conjunction with full body harnesses incorporating a work positioning belt (waist belt) and employing a work positioning lanyard (pole strap), or such harnesses employing a pre-sternum attachment point, these constitute systems of personal protective equipment against falls from a height.
