Describes to the classification of environments, indoor and outdoor, in which plant and equipment is intended to be installed by ENA Member Companies. Although the requirements for protective coating systems specifically apply to items fabricated from steel or similar ferrous metals, the same requirements are intended to apply to protection of other metals, where practicable. Paint coatings, powder coatings, zinc coatings and combinations of these coating systems are intended to be covered by this Specification.
