Gives a method to determine individual and total levels of residual isocyanates in plastics materials and articles. Applies to the analysis of polyurethane polymers. The articles determined and the total level of isocyanate monomers in materials, in accordance with the described procedure, is given in milligrams of NCO per kilogram of material or article.
