Bellcore's preliminary view of In-process Quality Metrics (IPQM), describing process requirements, metrics and reports to be implemented during the development of software for the BCCs. The objective of IPQM is to: 1. motivate the development of more accurate and complete project plans, schedules, staffing and process requirements; 2. quality & reliability indicators; 3. establish a framework to identify and manage deviations in project performance and 4. to provide a means to identify process weaknesses.
