Presents Bellcore's preliminary view of generic criteria for an ISDN Exchange Termination (ET) to Frame Handler (FH) interface. The ET-FH interface supports ISDN access to frame relay services as described in ANSI T11.617 standard. FH generally refers to the network functions that will provide frame relay services to ISDN users. Specifically this FA presents early requirements and objectives on an ISDN ET and an associated FH that permit 3 access methods. Also presents early requirements and objectives for supporting operations and management functions.
