APPENDIX 1 AVERAGE SYSTEM FAILURE RATE
Gives guidance and acceptable methods, but not the only methods, that may be used to demonstrate compliance for aircraft engines with Section 33.4, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Provides guidance for developing ICA to ensure the continued airworthiness of aircraft engine HIRF and lightning protection features.
