Provides the view of generic requirements for Default Service for Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Basic Rate Interfaces (BRIs). Explains the need for Default Service, what functionality needs to be provided, and how that can be achieved using Telcordia requirements. Also provides information to the Local Exchange Carriers (LECs) to understand how an access line should be provisioned to provide Default Service.
