GR 580 CORE : ISSUE 1
Current
The latest, up-to-date edition.
This document is a module of LSSGR, FR-64. It defines the generic requirements for the CFV feature. Call Forwarding Variable (CFV) enables the capability for the subscriber to redirect calls intended for the subscriber's line (the base station) to another line (the remote station). The subscriber controls CFV via an activation and deactivation procedure. The activation procedure includes the capability to specify the Directory Number (DN) of the remote station, and requires a courtesy call. If the courtesy call is not answered, the subscriber is provided with an alternate means of activating CFV. To deactivate call forwarding, the subscriber goes off-hook, receives dial-tone, and dials a deactivation code; a confirmation one is then returned to the customer.
