Essentially an abridgement of the various parts of AS 1102, Graphical symbols for electrotechnology, and AS 1103, Diagrams, charts and tables for electrotechnology, it sets out basic principles of electrical and electronic drawing practice and symbology. Includes information on item designation, circuit diagrams, architectural diagrams, interconnection diagrams and tables, and unit wiring diagrams and tables, and provides a selection of graphical symbols. Also includes example circuit diagrams, guidance on the layout and artwork for printed board assemblies, and an extract from AS 1046, Letter symbols for use in electrotechnology, Part 1 - General. It is intended for students in electrotechnology and related fields.
