This part of the Handbook deals generally with matters relating to fire and fire tests concerning textile materials and products.This document lists individual Standards and Codes published by Standards Australia, and identifies appropriate procedures and documents prepared by other Australian and overseas organizations. This document is a general guide directing users to Standards dealing in detail with specific areas of fire hazard assessment, fire protection and fire regulation.The Handbook does not provide mandatory requirements on fire matters but advises the user on the applicability of State, Territory and local government regulations.
