Applies to high-pressure, flexible connections to be connected to cylinders or cylinder bundles with a working pressure not exceeding 23000 kPa for use with medical gases such as oxygen, air, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, helium, xenon, nitrogen and specified mixtures of these. Does not apply to high-pressure flexible connections that are intended for filling cylinders.
