    Defines and provides guidelines on general requirements for storing water outside consumers' buildings, including service reservoirs for potable water and reservoirs containing water not for human consumption in intake or treatment works, not including those which are part of the treatment process, ie: design, general requirements for product standards, checks, test, commissioning, operational requirements and requirements for rehabilitation and repair. Applies to designing and constructing of new reservoirs, extending and modifying existing reservoirs, and significant rehabilitation of existing reservoirs.
