Annex A Implantation test
Specifies general requirements for Tracheal (endotracheal) tubes, whether made of rubber or of other elastometric material. Among the characteristics specified are the following: size designation; size range; materials; lumen; finish and marking. An implantation test (designed for the evaluation of a plastic material in direct contact with living tissue) is specified in an Annex to the specification.
