Applies to passive three-phase, shunt harmonic filters for use on 50 and 60 Hz power systems at 216 volts and above. Passive means that the filter is made up of inductors, capacitors, and resistors rather than electronically controlled devices. Shunt means that the device is connected in a delta. Harmonic filter means that it is designed to reduce harmonic on the power system.
