Defines the general requirements for specifying test methods for measuring conformance to PASC standards. Test specification standards for other Open System Environment (OSE) Application Programming Interface (API) standards are encouraged to use this standard. Aimed primarily at working groups developing test methods for software standards, developers of test methods, and users of test methods. May not be appropriate for defining testing requirements for network protocols.
