Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Provides computation processes to enable decision-making and relates the use of solar energy to optimize design in areas such as heating and cooling, whilst helping to understand the opportunities and concerns relevant in daylighting. Also relates the use of solar energy for daylighting to the optimization of building design from several perspectives including heating, cooling, and life cycle cost-benefit analysis(economics).
