This Indian Standard (Part 5/Sec 3) (Second Revision) which is identical to IEC 60598-2-3 : 2002 + AMD 1 : 2011 CSV 'Luminaires - Part 2-3: Particular requirements - Luminaires for road and street lighting' issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Illumination Engineering and Luminiaries Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
