This standard prescribes the requirements of the following categories of solid and sheet metal weights intended for use in normal commercial transactions: a) Iron weights, hexagonal (50 kg to 50 g); b) Brass and bronze weights (10 kg to 1 g); and c) Sheet metal weights (500 mg to 1 mg).
