This standard (Part 1) specifies the requirements, testing methods, and guidelines for the use of silicone based water repellents both water and solvent mix, intended for the use on masonry, stone, tiles, wood, and other surface to impart water repellency through creating a hydrophobic layer on the surface that repels water.
