This standard (Part 32) prescribes the following methods for the determination of chloride in water and wastewater: a) Argentometric method (applicable in the range of 0.15 mg to 10 mg of chloride); b) Mercuric nitrate method; c) Potentiometric method; d) Automated ferricyanide method; e) Dissolved anions by liquid chromatography of ions (The lower limit of application is > = 0,1 mg/l for chloride.
